 We collect only the personal data necessary to manage our interaction with or service to you. 

 Comments

 We do not collect data from comments except as necessary if reported to police for law enforcement purposes.

 Media

 If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

 Contact forms

Contact forms are used to provide a convenient method for users to contact our management and operations teams. Your name and email address may be saved for the purpose of contacting you.

How long we retain your data 

 If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

 For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

 What rights you have over your data

 If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. It is intended to serve its members and operates in every country where its members reside but primarily in the Americas – including all of the countries geographically located in North America, Central America and South America and the islands and nations of the Arctic, Atlantic and Pacific oceans contiguous thereto. Its servers operate in a “cloud” environment and no guarantee is made for the location of data that has been collected.

No member (unverified or verified member, business member or corporate member) may use the services and facilities provided by Locus Plus Inc., LP TechLogix or Find a Brother to violate any international, national, state or provincial law, regulation, bylaw or judicial order.

By registering as a member of Find a Brother (https://www.findabrother.com) you are agreeing to the collection of the personal data required to provide our services to you. We collect the minimum of information required to service your account. Financial and billing information is collected to facilitate the requirements of the Stripe Payment System and is protected by their practices and policies (https://stripe.com/docs/security/stripe). A notice appears in the application for membership and applicants must agree or the process cannot proceed.

Find a Brother website uses Google Analytics. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for the use of the data it collects. (https://policies.google.com/privacy). We have committed to our members that we will not sell or share their information to third parties.
